Step Forward Mentoring serves as an educational advocate for students. We provide relevant information to schools to assess why a student may be underachieving, as well as assisting teachers with guidance on how to support the students in the best possible way.
Our mentors work closely with those who may not be going to lessons, find out the reasonings behind this and ensure students have access to any additional resources they need to support with learning.
Step Forward Mentoring provides different levels of support to ensure appropriate help and equal opportunities is offered to all pupils, including those with special educational needs (or pre-diagnosis).
We understand that every student has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. That's why we offer customised learning plans, tailored to each student's individual needs. Here at Step Forward Mentoring we use positive behaviour support strategies and evidence-based behaviour interventions that effectively support children of all ages, with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
